Your weak moment does not cancel your calling.
Dear beautiful,
There are moments in a woman’s life when she begins to question everything she once believed about herself. Not because she has stopped loving God, and not because she has stopped believing in the dream, but because somewhere between the vision and the reality, she became tired.
The business has taken longer to build than she expected. The ministry feels heavier than she imagined. The marriage requires more grace than she thought it would. The children need more from her. The responsibilities have multiplied. The doors she prayed would open have remained closed, and the answers she expected have not arrived in the timing she hoped for.
And after carrying disappointment quietly for long enough, a question begins to rise within her:
Did I miss God? Am I still called? Does God still have a plan for me? Perhaps you have asked those questions too. If so, I want you to hear this today: Your weak moment does not cancel your calling. We often imagine that strong women are women who never struggle, never doubt, never feel weary, and never need help.
But Scripture tells a different story.
The Apostle Paul, a man greatly used by God, experienced weakness too. He asked God to remove the burden he carried, but God's response was not condemnation. Instead, God said:
"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
What a comforting truth. God did not tell Paul that weakness disqualified him. He reminded him that divine strength often reveals itself in human weakness.
And perhaps that is what you need to remember today.
You can be tired and still be called. You can be uncertain and still be chosen. You can feel discouraged and still be moving toward the purpose God has for your life. The woman God calls is not always the woman who feels the strongest. Sometimes she is simply the woman who continues to trust Him one day at a time.
So let me encourage you: do not wait until you feel fearless to take your next step.
Write the first page, send the email, start the conversation, apply for the opportunity, pray again, believe again and begin again. Small steps taken in faith still move us forward.
This is one of the reasons the BAM community exists. Not because women need another place where they are expected to have all the answers, but because they need spaces where they can be honest, receive encouragement, gain clarity, and be reminded that they are not walking this journey alone.
