The Woman You're Becoming
Hello Beautiful,
Have you ever stopped long enough to think about how much you've changed over the years?
Not the changes people can easily see, but the changes that happened quietly. The battles you fought that no one knew about. The prayers you prayed when your heart was breaking. The lessons you learned through disappointment, loss, setbacks, and seasons that tested everything you thought you knew about yourself.
Sometimes I think we become so focused on where we're trying to go that we forget to acknowledge how far we've already come.
I know there have been seasons in my own life when all I could see was what wasn't happening. I focused on the goals I hadn't reached, the prayers that hadn't been answered, and the areas where I still felt stuck. But with time, God began showing me something different.
He reminded me that transformation is often happening long before we can see the evidence of it.
Just like a butterfly doesn't emerge overnight, neither do we.
There is a process to becoming.
A process of shedding old mindsets.
A process of healing from old wounds.
A process of learning to trust God at a deeper level.
A process of becoming the woman He created us to be.
The truth is, many women are frustrated because they want the next chapter, but they haven't paused long enough to appreciate what this chapter is producing. We want the breakthrough, but we overlook the growth. We want the promise, but we miss the preparation.
What if the season you're in right now isn't punishment?
What if it's preparation?
What if the challenges you've faced weren't designed to break you, but to build the strength, wisdom, resilience, and faith you'll need for the next assignment God has for your life?
When I look back over my own journey—from pain to purpose, from brokenness to healing, from simply surviving to walking more fully in my calling—I realize that every season served a purpose. Even the seasons I wanted to rush through. Even the seasons I didn't understand.
And maybe that's what I want to remind you of today.
You are not behind.
You are not forgotten.
You are not too late.
You are becoming.
The woman you're becoming is stronger than you realize. She's wiser than she used to be. She's more discerning, more resilient, and more equipped than she gives herself credit for.
But here's what I've also learned: becoming doesn't happen in isolation.
We all need environments that nurture our growth. We need spaces where we can reflect, heal, learn, dream, and be reminded of who we are when life tries to make us forget.
That's one of the reasons I felt led to create the BAM TransformHER Retreat.
Not because women need another event to attend, but because women need intentional space to become. Space to reset. Space to realign. Space to rise.
This October, a small group of women will gather in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for an intimate transformational experience focused on healing, personal growth, purpose, leadership, wellness, and sisterhood. Because I believe transformation happens best in community, we're limiting this experience to just 11 women.
If you've been feeling a nudge that it's time to invest in yourself, your growth, and the woman you're becoming, I invite you to learn more:

For now, I simply want you to remember this:
Don't be so focused on where you're going that you fail to honor who you're becoming.
God is still working. And so are you.
