You Don't Need Another Conference

You Don't Need Another Conference

June 12, 20264 min read

Hey Beautiful,

Over the years, I've attended more conferences, workshops, leadership training's, retreats, ministry gatherings, and networking events than I can count. I've sat in rooms with hundreds of women. I've listened to powerful speakers, filled notebooks with pages of notes, and walked away feeling inspired and motivated to take on the world.

I've also had the privilege of standing on stages, teaching, mentoring, encouraging, and creating spaces where women could learn and grow.

And through all of those experiences, I've learned something that has stayed with me. Information can inspire you, but transformation changes you.

There is a difference.

Inspiration makes you feel good for a moment.

Transformation changes the way you think, the way you live, and the way you show up in the world.

I've watched women leave conferences excited about their future only to return home a few days later and find themselves carrying the same burdens, facing the same challenges, and wrestling with the same questions they had before they arrived. The information was valuable. The speakers were amazing. The atmosphere was exciting. Yet somehow life quickly returned to normal.

As I've reflected on that over the years, I've come to realize that transformation requires more than information.

Transformation requires space.

Space to reflect.

Space to heal.

Space to process.

Space to hear God's voice.

Space to ask the difficult questions.

Space to reconnect with the woman you've been too busy to notice.

I think that's one of the reasons so many women feel exhausted today. We spend so much time taking care of everyone else that we rarely stop long enough to check on ourselves. We pour into our families, our businesses, our ministries, our careers, and our communities while quietly ignoring the places within us that are longing for attention.

I've been that woman.

There was a season in my life when I was showing up for everyone else while neglecting myself. From the outside, everything appeared fine, but internally I knew God was calling me into a deeper place of healing, growth, and purpose. I knew there were areas of my life that needed my attention, but like many women, I convinced myself I would get to them later.

The truth is, later never comes unless we intentionally create space for it.

That's why the BAM TransformHER Retreat is so personal to me.

This retreat wasn't created because women need another event on their calendar. It was created because women need room to breathe. Women need room to hear. Women need room to heal. Women need room to dream again.

When I began praying about this retreat, I wasn't thinking about creating another conference. I was thinking about creating an experience. An environment where women could be poured into. An environment where women could be honest. An environment where women could lay down what they've been carrying and leave with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I believe some of the most powerful moments won't happen during a presentation. They'll happen during conversations. They'll happen around the table. They'll happen during prayer. They'll happen during reflection. They'll happen when women realize they are not alone in what they're carrying.

Because that's what transformation often looks like.

It's not always loud.

It's not always dramatic.

Sometimes it's a quiet realization that you're stronger than you thought.

Sometimes it's a conversation that changes your perspective.

Sometimes it's the courage to finally release something you've been holding onto for years.

Sometimes it's simply remembering who God created you to be.

As I prepare for October, I find myself praying over every woman who will be in the room. I pray that she arrives open. I pray that she leaves lighter. I pray that she discovers a deeper level of healing, clarity, confidence, and purpose than she had when she arrived.

Because that's my heart.

Not to host an event.

But to create an experience that helps women become.

This October, only 11 women will gather with me in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for the BAM TransformHER Retreat. The small size is intentional because transformation happens differently when women feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.

If you've been looking for more than information...

If you've been longing for space to reset, realign, and rise...

If you've been praying for clarity about your next chapter...

I invite you to learn more. https://tonyaharden.com/bam-retreat

And as you think about your next step, remember this: You don't need another conference.

You need the space to become the woman God created you to be.
