You don't need a dramatic testimony to prove that you have faith. There is more faith in you.

There is more faith in you

Dear beautiful,

Have you ever looked at your life and wondered, “Do I really have enough faith?”

Maybe you have watched other people speak boldly about what God is doing, take big steps, believe for impossible things, and somehow seem so certain. And while you celebrate them, a quiet part of you wonders if something is wrong with your own faith because you still have questions. You still get afraid. You still have moments when you wonder how things will work out.

But I want you to see something differently today.

Your faith may be stronger than you feel.

Faith is not always loud. It does not always look like standing on a mountain shouting that everything will be alright. Sometimes faith looks like getting out of bed when yesterday was heavy.

Sometimes it looks like praying again after a prayer went unanswered. Sometimes it looks like opening your Bible when your heart feels disappointed. Sometimes it looks like saying, “Lord, I don't understand this, but I still trust You.”

And sometimes faith is simply choosing not to give up.

You may not realize how much faith has already carried you.

Think about the things you have walked through that you never imagined you would survive. Think about the nights you cried and still woke up the next morning. Think about the doors that closed, the plans that changed, the seasons that stretched longer than you expected, and the moments when you had more questions than answers.

Yet here you are.

Still praying. Still hoping. Still believing. Still becoming. Still getting up.

That matters!

There is a quiet kind of faith that develops in the places nobody sees. It grows when you have to trust God without an explanation. It grows when you cannot see the outcome but decide to keep walking. It grows when you have every reason to become bitter, but you choose to keep your heart open to God.

The Bible says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV)

The Bible says we walk by faith.

Walking means movement. It means you may not see everything ahead of you, but you keep taking the next step.

Maybe that is where you are right now.

You are waiting for clarity before you move. You are waiting to feel confident before you say yes. You are waiting for the entire plan to make sense before you trust the One who gave you the assignment.

But what if God is not asking you to understand everything today?

What if He is simply asking you to trust Him with your next step?

Faith does not mean you never feel afraid. It means fear does not get the final word. Faith does not mean you never question. It means your questions do not have to separate you from God. Faith does not mean you know exactly how everything will happen. It means you believe that God will remain faithful even when you cannot see how the story will unfold.

And perhaps you have more faith than you have been giving yourself credit for.

I want you to pause today and remember one situation you survived because you chose to keep trusting God. Don't rush past it. Think about where you were, what you felt, what you feared, and how God carried you through it.

That story is evidence.

Evidence that you have trusted Him before. Evidence that He has sustained you before. Evidence that your faith has already been growing.

You don't need a dramatic testimony to prove that you have faith. Sometimes the greatest evidence is simply that, after everything you've been through, your heart is still willing to believe that God is not finished with you.

There is more faith in you.

Maybe it has been buried underneath disappointment. Maybe fear has made it difficult to recognize. Maybe exhaustion has made you forget what God has already brought you through.

But it is there.

And as we continue this journey of discovering the “There’s More in You,” I want you to stop measuring your faith by how fearless you feel. Measure it by your willingness to trust God one more time.

You don't need to have the whole map.

You just need enough faith to take the next step.

And sometimes, beautiful woman, that next step is simply getting up and saying, “God, I still trust You.”

That is faith too.

Your reflection for today: What is one situation you have survived because you chose to keep trusting God? Write it down. Remember what He brought you through. Then thank Him, not only for where you are today, but for the faith that kept you moving when you didn't know what was ahead. There is more faith in you than you think.

And God is still growing it, one step at a time.

P.S. If you’ve been sensing that God is calling you into something deeper, but you’ve been carrying the weight of figuring it all out on your own, I want you to know you don’t have to walk into your next season alone. BAM RetreatHer is coming up October 8–10 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and I’m looking forward to creating space for women to pause, breathe, reconnect with God, rediscover what is inside them, and prepare for what’s next. Sometimes the next step becomes clearer when we finally give ourselves room to listen.
