The woman you're becoming is worth every investment.

There is something I've been thinking about lately, and I wonder if you've ever felt it too.

Have you ever looked at your life and realized you're standing somewhere between who you've been and who God is calling you to become?

It's an interesting place to be.

You can see glimpses of the woman God created you to be, but every now and then the woman you've always known tries to convince you to stay where it's comfortable. She reminds you of your disappointments, your mistakes, your fears, and every reason why now isn't the right time to grow.

Yet, even in those moments, something inside you keeps whispering, There's more.

I don't believe that whisper comes from ambition. I believe it comes from God.

Every woman has two versions of herself.

There is the woman who has survived life's hardest seasons. She has endured heartbreak, carried burdens no one else could see, questioned her worth, and wondered if her dreams were still possible. She learned how to keep moving, even when her heart was tired.

Then there is the woman she is becoming.

She is learning to trust again after disappointment. She is beginning to see herself through God's eyes instead of the opinions of others. She is discovering that confidence isn't something she has to earn. It's something she receives when she understands whose she is. She is no longer shrinking to fit into spaces that God has called her to outgrow.

The beautiful thing is that neither woman is your enemy.

One represents your testimony.

The other represents your promise.

The journey isn't about pretending the first woman never existed. It's about thanking God for bringing her through every difficult season while having the courage to keep walking toward the woman He is still creating.

I've learned that becoming doesn't happen by accident.

It happens every time we choose healing over hiding.

Every time we choose faith over fear.

Every time we stop believing the lie that investing in ourselves is selfish.

Somewhere along the way, many of us became so committed to serving everyone else that we forgot we matter too. We poured into our families, our businesses, our ministries, and our communities until there was very little left for ourselves. We convinced ourselves that rest could wait, healing could wait, and our own growth could wait.

But God never intended for His daughters to live empty while constantly pouring into others.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is pause long enough to allow God to restore what life has worn down.

That is why this year's BAM TransformHER Retreat means so much to me.

It isn't simply a weekend at the beach. It's an intentional opportunity to step away from the noise and spend time with the One who has been shaping your life all along. Together, we'll renew our relationship with God, gain greater clarity about our purpose, build meaningful friendships, and walk away with practical steps for the next season of our lives. My prayer is that every woman leaves not only encouraged, but transformed.

Only eleven women will share this experience with me in Gulf Shores this October.

Not because I wanted to make the retreat exclusive.

Because I wanted it to be personal.

I want every conversation to matter.

Every prayer to be intentional.

Every woman to feel seen, heard, and loved.

As you think about your own journey, I want to leave you with one question.

If you continue making the same decisions you've always made, will they lead you to the woman you know God is calling you to become?

Or is God inviting you to say yes to something different?

Maybe this isn't just another invitation.

Maybe it's the beginning of your next chapter.
