✨🎉 New Destiny Church is Celebrating 15 Years in Ministry! 🎉✨

There are certain moments in life that never leave your heart, and for me, one of those moments was sitting in the office with Bishop & Lady Woodard as they spoke words that still echo today: “You’re about to start a church.” Could you imagine… after hearing those words, my mind was racing. Start a church? From the ground up? I remember thinking—with what resources, with what people, and who would even come to a church that didn’t yet exist?

In the natural, none of it made sense. The questions felt louder than the answers. The vision seemed bigger than our capacity. But that’s the beauty of God—He specializes in calling us to what looks impossible so He can show us that with Him, nothing is impossible.

What felt like uncertainty then has now become undeniable evidence of His faithfulness. What started as a whisper has become a ministry that has touched lives, healed hearts, and saved souls.

I remember the prayers. I remember the dreaming. I remember sitting in front of the TV late one night when suddenly, in the stillness of that moment, I heard the words so clearly: “New Destiny Fellowship Church.”

I remember writing that name down with trembling hands, not fully realizing that heaven was entrusting us with a vision far greater than ourselves. I can still recall the melody God whispered to me while driving one day, a simple song that carried so much promise: 🎶 “Welcome to the New Destiny, Welcome to the New Destiny…”

At the time, it felt like just a seed—small, fragile, almost impossible. But now I see it for what it truly was: the very beginning of a destiny God Himself was unfolding, a destiny that only He could bring to life.

I can still see my husband writing down the vision and declaring the motto:
“Changing Our Lives to Change the World.”

It was a bold statement, and we thought we were ready—but truthfully, we had no idea what we were doing or who would even show up. This was the moment when our YES had to change—because our YES was no longer just about us. Our YES carried a responsibility far greater than we were prepared for.

Did I mention we were scared out of our minds? Coming from nothing, starting a church from the ground up was uncharted territory. But that YES moment for us was so loud, so undeniable, that we didn’t have a choice. We could either move forward and start the church, or we could turn back. And I’d rather give God my YES than step backward any day.

I remember our first services in a community center, and even then, people came to our YES moment—tears flowing, hearts ready. Let me pause here: when you give God your YES through action, it speaks louder than words.

And here we are—15 years later—living proof that what God whispers in prayer, He brings to life and sustains with unstoppable power.

In these 15 years, we have witnessed God’s hand move in ways that only He could orchestrate:
✨ Hearts surrendered and souls saved
✨ Families and marriages restored
✨ Leaders equipped and empowered
✨ Dreams awakened and businesses birthed
✨ Lives forever changed

But just as important, we’ve walked through seasons of stretching, learning, and even making mistakes. And through every high and every low, one truth has remained unshakable: God has been faithful.

To every person who has ever been connected to New Destiny Church—whether you visited for a service, joined us at a conference, gathered in a workshop, or experienced a retreat—please know this: you are part of this story. You have helped make these 15 years what they are, and for that, we say with full hearts: THANK YOU.

As we pause to reflect on this milestone, we do so with awe and gratitude. Every victory, every trial, every tear, and every lesson has been woven together into a testimony of God’s grace. And above all else, we give Him glory for every soul that has been saved through this ministry.

🙏🏽 Lord, thank You for 15 years of New Destiny Church.

The story isn’t finished yet. The best is still ahead of us, and we step forward with faith, knowing that what God begins, He is faithful to complete.
