Can you believe we’re already in November? I honestly can’t! When I look back over this year, one thing stands out above everything else — God has never let go of us. 🙌🏽

Every year around this time, I shift into planning and preparation mode. I start praying, reflecting, and asking God what He wants to do next — not just in my life, but through my life. Right now, I’m in the middle of planning for my 2026, and let me tell you… my expectation is high! I believe that God is already aligning the right opportunities, connections, and resources for what’s coming.

You might be wondering, “Tonya, how do you start planning that far ahead?” Well, since 2016, I’ve followed four core principles that keep me grounded, focused, and aligned with God’s will. These four steps have been my blueprint for every new season:

🌿 1. Pray

Before I put pen to paper, I start with prayer. Every plan begins in God’s presence. Prayer helps me to hear His voice and not just chase what looks good — but what’s God-ordained.

Proverbs 3:6 – “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”

📝 2. Plan

Once I’ve prayed, I start to plan with intention. I write the vision and make it plain (Habakkuk 2:2). Planning gives my faith a road map and turns dreams into steps. I don’t just wish for success — I strategize for it.

🧰 3. Prepare

Preparation is where faith meets action. I start setting things in order, organizing my time, and positioning myself for what I’ve prayed for. When God opens the door, I want to be ready to walk through it.

🚀 4. Pursue

This is where obedience takes over. I pursue what God told me with passion, persistence, and purpose — even when it feels uncomfortable. I’ve learned that every “next level” requires movement, not just motivation.

People often ask me, “Why are you always so excited?”My answer is simple — because God allows me to wake up another day and continue the work He’s called me to do. Every day is another chance to complete His plans for my life. That alone gives me joy and keeps me going.
