A Journey of Growth, Faith, and Extraordinary Lessons

Dear Sisters,

As we near the finish line of our virtual book club journey, I can hardly believe how far we’ve come together. What started as a simple desire to read and grow has blossomed into a powerful experience filled with connection, transformation, and faith. Meeting so many amazing women along the way has been nothing short of a blessing, but the greatest gift has been the opportunity to grow alongside each of you in the Lord.

This season, I chose to dive deep into 12 Ordinary Women with Extraordinary Lessons—a book that reminds us that God uses everyday women to display His extraordinary power. One story that brought me to tears was the woman with the issue of blood. Her faith, her courage, and her determination resonated deeply with me, as I reflected on my own journey.

In November 2023, God woke me up and revealed something I didn’t want to hear—I had cancer. I remember waking my husband and saying, “God told me I have the C-word…” though I could barely bring myself to say it out loud. When the doctors confirmed cancer cells in my ovaries and the need for immediate surgery, I knew God’s hand was on me. Six months later, when it returned, I faced another surgery. And yet, through it all, I held tight to His promises, reaching out again and again for His strength.

That is why the story of the woman with the issue of blood touches me so deeply. Out of the crowd, her touch was different—it was a touch of faith, a touch of determination, a touch that did not need permission. Jesus felt it. He turned and called her “Daughter,” saying, “Your faith has healed you.” That is the kind of faith I long for. A faith that reaches beyond fear, beyond the noise, and straight to the heart of God.

My sisters, I believe this virtual experience has been more than just a book club. It has been a place where we, too, have reached out in faith—learning, growing, and trusting God to move in our lives. I pray that each of us continues to press in with that same determination, knowing that our touch of faith never goes unnoticed by Him.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. I am beyond excited for the transformation that is happening in our lives, and I can’t wait to see how God continues to use each of us for His glory.
