There's More in You Than You've Allowed Yourself to Believe
Dear Friend,
Over the past few weeks, I have found myself thinking about something that I believe many women silently wrestle with. From the outside, life can look full. We have families to care for, businesses to build, ministries to lead, careers to manage, and people depending on us every single day. We become so focused on fulfilling responsibilities that we rarely stop long enough to ask ourselves one simple question: Is there more?
Not more success. Not more possessions. Not more accomplishments.
But more of the woman God created us to become.
I truly believe there is.
There comes a moment in every woman's life when God begins whispering to her heart that she was made for more than simply surviving. He gently reminds her that there is still healing waiting to take place, purpose waiting to unfold, joy waiting to be experienced, and peace waiting to replace the exhaustion she has carried for far too long. That whisper doesn't come because you've failed. It comes because your Creator knows what He placed inside of you before anyone else ever saw your potential.
I've learned this lesson personally. There have been seasons in my own life when I was pouring into everyone around me while quietly wondering when I would have the opportunity to pour back into myself. I smiled through difficult moments, continued serving, continued leading, and continued encouraging others, all while carrying questions that only God could answer. Looking back, I realize that God wasn't asking me to do more. He was inviting me to become more. He wanted to restore parts of me that I didn't even realize had grown weary.
I wonder if you've been feeling that same invitation.
Maybe you've accomplished goals you once prayed for, yet something inside still feels unsettled. Maybe you've spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you've forgotten what it feels like to simply rest in God's presence. Or perhaps you've been praying for direction, asking God what's next, and wondering why the answers haven't become clear.
Sometimes clarity doesn't come because God isn't speaking. Sometimes it comes when we finally create the space to listen.
That is the heart behind the BAM TransformHER Retreat.
This isn't simply a weekend away or another event to place on your calendar. It is an intentional opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life and allow God to remind you of who you are. It's a place where healing begins, confidence is restored, purpose becomes clearer, and lifelong sisterhood is formed. My prayer is that every woman who attends leaves with more than memories. I pray she leaves with renewed faith, renewed vision, and renewed confidence in the calling God has placed on her life.
This October, only eleven women will gather with me in Gulf Shores, Alabama for this transformational experience. I believe that every seat has a purpose, and every woman who says yes will arrive carrying her own story and leave with a renewed understanding of the next chapter God is writing.
As you look at the invitation below, don't simply ask yourself if you have the time. Ask yourself if your heart has been longing for exactly what God has been trying to give you all along.
Because I believe with everything in me that there is more inside of you than you've allowed yourself to believe.
I hope you'll join me.
With love,
