Maybe It's Time to Pour Back Into Yourself

Hello there,

Over the years, I've discovered something about women, especially women who are called to lead, serve, build, nurture, and pour into others. We become so committed to helping everyone else succeed that we often neglect the very person God has entrusted us to steward first—ourselves. We convince ourselves that we'll rest later, heal later, invest in ourselves later, and pursue the things that bring us life later. Yet "later" has a way of turning into months and sometimes years.

I know this because I've lived it.

There was a season in my life when I was giving so much of myself away that I barely recognized how depleted I had become. I was showing up, serving, leading, and doing all the things I believed I was supposed to do, but deep down I knew something was missing. My spirit was longing for space. Space to think. Space to breathe. Space to hear God's voice without the constant noise and demands of everyday life competing for my attention.

What I eventually learned was that investing in myself wasn't selfish; it was stewardship. It was recognizing that if I wanted to continue serving others well, I needed to make sure I was healthy spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. I needed to stop seeing personal growth as a luxury and start seeing it as a responsibility.

I wonder how many women reading this email today are carrying more than they were ever meant to carry alone. Maybe you're leading a business, caring for family, serving in ministry, managing responsibilities, and trying your best to keep everything together. From the outside, people see strength, but only you know the weight you've been carrying behind the scenes.

If that's you, I want to remind you of something that God has been reminding me of for years: you matter too.

Your dreams matter. Your healing matters. Your growth matters. Your purpose matters.

The woman God is calling you to become deserves your attention just as much as the people you've been pouring into. Yet so many women wait until they are exhausted before they finally give themselves permission to pause, reflect, and invest in their own well-being.

That's one of the reasons I felt led to create the BAM TransformHER Retreat. After years of mentoring women, teaching women, and walking alongside women through seasons of healing and transformation, I recognized how desperately many of us need intentional spaces where we can step away from the noise and reconnect with ourselves, with God, and with the vision He has placed inside of us.

This retreat wasn't created because women need another event to attend. It was created because women need room to breathe. Room to heal. Room to dream again. Room to gain clarity. Room to be surrounded by other women who understand both the beauty and the burden of carrying purpose.

This October, a small group of women will gather in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for what I believe will be more than a retreat. I believe it will be an opportunity for transformation. Because I want this experience to remain intimate and impactful, we're limiting it to just 25 women and we only have 11 more spots.

If you've been feeling a gentle nudge while reading this, I encourage you not to ignore it. Sometimes God doesn't speak through dramatic moments. Sometimes He speaks through a quiet stirring in our hearts that reminds us it's time for something more.
