Courageous Faith

How to have Courages Faith!!!

Good morning my Sister in Christ

I pray that your year has already begun with doors of opportunity opening before you, but above all, I declare that this will be a year you’ll never forget—a year marked by breakthrough, growth, and undeniable purpose. I speak divine favor over your life, that blessings will pursue and overtake you, and that you will step boldly into the best days you have ever known. May this be the year where destiny and purpose meet you head-on, and everything God has planned for you comes into alignment.

I pray that God strategically connects you with people who will challenge your thinking, stretch your faith, and inspire you to see beyond the familiar. May your vision for this year expand beyond boundaries and limits, and may your dreams unfold with clarity and confidence like never before. I believe this is your season to rise, thrive, and walk fully in the plans God has designed just for you.

I’m excited to share that I’m working on a new book, and I can’t wait to reveal it to you soon! As I was writing this morning,, I felt a strong pull to pause and pour into you about the power of courageous faith—the kind of faith that not only shifts your life but impacts the lives of those God has assigned to you.

Now, let me pause here for a moment to speak a truth I’ve learned over the years: There is a profound difference between the people who are assigned to you and those who are merely attached to you. People who are assigned to you are divinely positioned to walk with you, invest in you, and draw from the well of what God has placed inside of you. They show up with purpose and expectation. But those who are attached to you often come to take, draining your energy without giving anything in return.

What’s the point? Be mindful of your assignments and discerning your attachments. Guard your oil, protect your peace, and walk boldly in your purpose, knowing that the right connections will align with your destiny, while the wrong ones will deplete you.

Let’s talk about this lesson I want to share with you.  Let’s talk about it Tuesday

A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of teaching a lesson at my church titled Transformational MindShift, where we explored Peter’s courageous faith when he stepped out of the boat and walked on water. As I studied this familiar story, God revealed a powerful truth that I couldn’t wait to share.

Peter’s leap of faith wasn’t just about defying nature—it was birthed from seeing Jesus move with compassion in the midst of His own grief. After learning of John the Baptist’s death, Jesus sought solitude to grieve. Yet, even in His sorrow, He was drawn to meet the needs of the crowd, healing the sick and feeding over 5,000 people.

Pause right there. In the middle of His pain, Jesus still fulfilled His purpose. Let that settle in your spirit. What does that tell us? Sometimes, God will use your moments of separation and sorrow to sharpen your vision, revealing the very need that your pain is designed to answer. Purpose doesn’t always wait for perfect conditions.

After this, Jesus told the disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of Him. He knew exactly what was coming next. Another miracle was about to unfold. Why? Because someone’s faith was about to be activated.

Come here, Peter…

What was it about Peter that made him step out of the boat? His courageous faith wasn’t blind—it was fixed on Jesus. Peter saw the One who walks with purpose even in pain. He understood that if Jesus was out there on the water, then the impossible was possible for him, too.

Beloved, this is your call to courageous faith. What you focus on in your storm will determine whether you stay in the boat or walk on water. Keep your eyes on the One who turns grief into glory and pain into purpose. Your faith is the activator of your next miracle.

Picture this: Peter was sitting on the boat with the other disciples, rocking back and forth on the waves. I can only imagine the conversations swirling around him. They had just witnessed Jesus do the unthinkable—healing the sick with a touch, speaking life where there was death, and feeding over 5,000 people with two fish and five loaves of bread. The sheer magnitude of what they had seen must have left them awestruck, trying to wrap their minds around it.

I can hear them whispering, replaying the moment over and over:
"Did you see how He blessed it? How in the world did that little bit of food stretch to feed everyone—and still have leftovers?"
"Who is this Man that even in His grief, He’s still moved with compassion to meet every need?"

But while they were processing the miracle, something different was stirring in Peter’s spirit. It wasn’t just amazement—it was activation. That encounter on the shore had elevated his faith to a whole new dimension. What he saw Jesus do had planted a seed of boldness that was about to break the limits of fear and reason.

Because here’s the truth: When you witness God move in ways that defy human logic, it doesn’t just inspire you—it activates you. It shifts your perspective from “Can this be done?” to “If He did it then, He can do it again—and maybe through me!”

Peter’s faith wasn’t content to stay in the boat. His spirit was ready for the next step, for the impossible, because he had already tasted what happens when divine power meets human obedience.

Some people look at Peter’s story and focus on the failure—“Wow, he walked on water, but he sank because he took his eyes off Jesus.” And I say, SO WHAT if he took his eyes off Jesus? The point is… he WALKED on water! Let that sink in for a moment.

Peter did what no one else dared to do. He stepped out of the boat, defied fear, and moved in courageous faith. Yes, he faltered. Yes, he got distracted by the wind and the waves. But before he ever sank, he WALKED on water—he experienced the miraculous because he had the boldness to try.

What I love most about this story is how it mirrors many of us. We have courageous faith—faith to dream, to build, to step into the unknown. But too often, we let the voices around us cause hesitation. We allow the doubts and opinions of others to make us second-guess what God has already placed in our hearts.

And here’s the truth: Sometimes, it’s not your faith that’s the problem—it’s the tables you’re sitting at. If you find yourself shrinking, questioning, or doubting your next move, it might be time to evaluate the conversations you’re engaging in. Are you surrounding yourself with people who remind you of the waves or with those who call out, “Come on and walk!”

Beloved, the right tables will inspire you to stretch your faith and walk into the impossible. The wrong ones will have you stuck in the boat, wondering what could have been. So choose wisely. And remember this: Success in the Kingdom isn’t just about never falling—it’s about having the courage to get out of the boat in the first place.

Can I encourage you as we step into 2025? If your circle isn’t pushing you to think bigger, dream bolder, and move beyond your comfort zone, don’t just walk away—go learn from other tables. Sit with people who challenge your perspective, spark new ideas, and show you what’s possible. Then take what you’ve learned and bring it back to your circle to help everyone grow.

Now listen—here’s the key—you’ll know if your circle isn’t ready. Trust me, I’ve learned this: If you show me your circle, I’ll show you your potential. And if you show me who you hang with, I’ll show you your future.

This year, be intentional about your connections. Surround yourself with people who sharpen you, stretch you, and call you higher. You were made for more—so choose your company wisely and keep growing!

The reason for this long message is simple—I want to encourage you today, just as I’m encouraged myself. This morning, I had the honor of kicking off the first class of the BAM Program with some truly amazing women. Let me tell you, if I had never been willing to step out with the courageous faith of Peter, I would have missed out on the incredible connections and purpose-filled moments I’m experiencing now.

I shared with my church recently that I’m a lot like Peter. I’ve got the kind of faith that’s bold enough to step out of the boat, even when I can’t see the full picture. And just like Peter, I don’t always know what’s waiting for me when I take that first step. The truth is, I still don’t fully know what God will do in this 90-day challenge—but here’s what I do know: As long as I keep my eyes on Jesus, these women will receive exactly what they need.

What I’ve come to realize is this—when God calls you, the water beneath your feet will hold you. The impossible becomes possible because His word is your foundation. Peter didn’t walk on water because of his own strength; he walked because Jesus called him out. That same power holds us today.

So, if you’re feeling the nudge to move in faith—whether it’s starting something new, leading, or stepping into unfamiliar territory—remember this: When your faith is anchored in Jesus, you’re already walking on solid ground. Trust Him. The miracle is in your obedience.

So, the moral of the story is this—I have courageous faith. I’m believing God with everything in me that someone in this BAM Program will not leave the same way they came in. I believe that transformation is already happening, and by the end of this journey, someone will see a need and be bold enough to start meeting it.

I’m trusting that assignments will find them, align with their purpose, and connect to their destiny. This isn’t just another class—it’s a divine setup for breakthroughs, clarity, and purpose-filled action. We’re walking in faith together, and I believe God is about to do something exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we could ever ask or imagine!

I pray that this year is filled with courageous faith for you, faith that will lead you to your own walk on water moment—the kind of faith that pushes you to do something so big, so bold, that it makes you shake in your boots. Because here’s the truth I live by: If your dreams don’t scare you, then you’re not dreaming big enough.

Your faith was made for moments like this—moments that stretch you, challenge you, and cause you to step out into the unknown. So, I pray that this year, you embrace those moments, and let your courage rise to meet every opportunity God places before you.

I pray that this year is filled with blessings and favor over your life. But more than anything, don’t you dare quit on yourself. You are stronger, more capable, and more destined than you realize. The journey ahead may challenge you, but remember, every setback is setting you up for a comeback. Keep going—your breakthrough is closer than you think.
